Live Musicality for Dancers Intensive

Elizabeth Strong – former Bellydance Superstar and Bellydance Evolution troupe member, global teacher, and veteran stage performer – and her husband Dan Cantrell, an Emmy Award-winning composer and professional musician, have joined forces to launch your dancing to the next level with a practical, deep-dive into the essential art of musicality.

Over two immersive days, you’ll discover how to shape your movement with a heightened awareness of melody, rhythm, and song structure – and improvise more freely by truly hearing musical phrasing. You’ll walk away with powerful new tools in your dancer’s tool belt and a new confidence dancing and interacting with live music.

With twenty years of professional experience teaching and performing across the globe, Elizabeth and Dan create a warm, generous, and safe space to nourish your love of music and dance.

If you have some basics and you’re ready to deepen your artistry – to find more depth, more breadth, and more feeling in your dance – this is the workshop for you!

*There will be an opportunity to perform in the Infusion Emporium Gala Show!

 

Investment: £400 (including a ticket to sit in the audience of the show during the acts you aren’t dancing in). 

How to Book

Booking opens on Saturday 6th June at 10AM
To register, please email infusionemporiumshow@gmail.com from 10AM on 06/06 (no earlier please) with the following information:
* Your Name
* Your Email Address
* Your contact telephone number (we will only use this in case we need to urgently contact you about your registration).
* Number of years you have been dancing and what styles you have studied.
* Your experience with dancing to live music (this will help to plan workshop content for the group)

Places are offered on a first come, first served basis. We will be contacting you via email to let you know we have received your request to register and whether you were one of the first 15 dancers in our inbox. If you are not, we will add you to the waiting list in case anyone drops out.
 
In order to complete your registration you must either pay in full or complete a deposit payment of £100 via bank transfer or Paypal (we will email you details) within three days of receiving your email. If you have any issues completing the payment, please let us know, otherwise after three days we will offer your place to the next on the waiting list.
Balance payments must be completed by 31st August.
